Inside Out, Not Outside In

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where I want to begin.
When I wake up in the morning every day, I say these simple words in a simple way.

All our thoughts have the power to drive. It is up to me which ones I choose to thrive.
The present moment is all I ever know. Once I have awareness, then things begin to flow.

Inside out, not outside in, inside out, not outside in, this is the place where creation begins.
The universe is a thought put into space that extends way beyond any given place.

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where love begins.
Love is the energy that begins with me. It spreads to all others like a flowering tree.

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where acceptance begins.
I came into this world perfectly designed to thrive until the world taught me I am only here to survive.

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where peace can begin.
Let us all come together and be one with each other. We are all connected as surfers for one another.

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where healing begins.
The Mind, Body and Spirit is my sacred trinity. They all come together to give me unity.

Inside out, not outside in, that’s where resilience begins.
I know that life offers me many lessons to learn. I have a choice how I react or respond to the teachings I yearn.

Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where I reside.
When I go to bed before I sleep at night, I say these simple words and everything is alright. Inside out, not outside in, this is the place where I know I begin.
