Me to you and you to me, that’s where I want to BE

I know that this shift from me to you is what started my insanity
I began to live for all humanity
I became unknown at least to me just to please all who see
I lost myself in the lottery

Me to you and you to me is what I desire and long to BE

Me to you for all to please
I became another form of mediocrity
Just so I could not be seen
I became invisible for the sake of others who might not glow without me smothered.

Me to you and you to me, that’s where I know I want to BE

When I shift from you to me, then I am in a place to be free.
My child-like state is what I seek
Strong and resilient like a tree.
My “self” is visible first to me.
And then to others who I can see.

Me to you and now you to me, that’s where I am for my identity

I am no longer you because I know for me that I am worthy of love and being a dove that soars high above
I am a pebble thrown into a pond with the first ripple being my own
And from there all others expand from that first seed that I have sown

Me to you, now you to me, that’s where I want to remain to BE
To promote self-love for all to see
I look in the mirror and gaze at me in a whole new way that celebrates with glee
Who I am in all of my creativity.
That’s where I dwell in this place called ME.
I laugh and shout and go Weeeeeeee!
